Finger Print Reader Software Is Very Buggy

I've been using a stand-alone Microsoft Finger Print Reader for about five
months now.

The Microsoft provided software is terrible. I have many duplicate entries
in my Quicklink List because the software "forgot" that an entry already
exists. Some of the existing entries do not work at all and I have to
manually create a new entry for an entry already in my Quicklink List.
Occasionally, my fingerprint reader flashes continuously when I place my
finger on it and I have to reboot my computer to get the software to work
again. Also, there's no "quick" way to delete a duplicate entry in the
Quicklink List. I should be able to just highlight an entry and delete it.
I can't do that!!!!

Microsoft needs to come out with an updated version of the finger print
reader software so that all these bugs can be corrected.

When you create en entry you have the possibility of
unchecking display in the QuickLink list.

To clean your list you may edit the *.ini file and
remove any entry you do not want to appear.

Seems like very round-about way of solving the problem. What about just
deleting a Quicklink entry by highlighting it and deleting it? You know, the
EASY WAY!!!

We probably used « QuickLink » for different utilities.
Since I have french language version of WinXp and
installed the Finger Print reader with the french
menus, I am not sure both are called QuickLink in english.

But for the Finger Print Reader's quicklink list (Liens rapides)
your suggestion does not seem to work.
I cannot select an entry and delete it.

Neither can I. As I said, Microsoft needs to release an updated version of
the fingerprint reader software.
