Finding Password For Administrator

I bought my computer used and I didn't get the recovery
discs that go with it...I am having a problem that can
only be fixed with recovery...I am getting the disk but my
question is how do I find out what my password is...I
don't know how it was set with my name or anything...I
don't remember setting it and now I wonder do I need to
know the password when I recover my computer? If so, how
do I find out what the password was and I would like to
know it anyways just for my records....

If you dont know the Administrator password and there is
no other known user account with admin rights, you're
looking at a re-install. There's no utility to run that
will give you your password. Even the admin account can
only reset your password, it doesnt have access to tell
you what your password is.
