Finding my cursor on a page

I typically run extended desktop with multiple documents open at the
same time.

It is difficult to know where I will be typing next and on which
document

I have activated "show location of pointer when I press the Ctrl key"
but that locates my current mouse cursor location. Is there a similar
function to locate not my mouse cursor but the location of my blinking
cursor? That is, where will the next text be entered when I start
typing?

Thanks

That's called the insertion point, I believe. Maybe that will help
you find stuff on the web.

When I turned 80, I started losing my insertion point too. I think
they have drugs to help me.
