finding files

i typed my cv in microsoft works and put a copy onto a
floppy disc. my husband restored our computer to factory
settings and when i went to open my cv from the floppy
disc it wont let me as it says it corrupted. Is there
anyway of retrieving it from the hard drive or is there
any way i can sort out the floppy disc.

You can try the floppy disk on a number of different
PCs. If unsuccessful, remember that important documents
must always be saved to at least two different media.

a bit more helpful advice is run chkdsk on the floppy and if there is an error it may beable to fix it and you may be able to retreive yor cv
