when is microsoft going to fix windows mail so that when you are sending an
email and you want to type the email address that you are sending to, you
only have to type a letter and a selection of addresses pop up like it did in
outlook express?

Gary,

My Windows Mail does indeed present a narrowed list of addresses when I type
the first letter. I'm running SP1 (RC). Is that why? Or does it have
something to do with the "last 29" that I am hearing about but haven't
actually confirmed firsthand?

Brian

From what I've seen of Vista's SP1 so far, it will not affect
anything in Windows Mail.
Are you talking about what happens after you click on 'To'?
In that case, WM is trying to find matches in your Contacts list.
If you mean you start typing in the 'To' line before clicking on 'To',
then it is trying to match from the last 29 you sent to.
