finding documents

I am using Word 2002 and save my documents for six days to make sure the remote office can open and print them. I would like to be able to find documents typed on specific days. Each file has T: xx-xx-xx as part of the document. Why am I not able to use that to "find documents"?

I don't know why Word is not finding your documents, but why don't you
create a folder for each day and save the days work in those folders. Then
you won't have to worry about finding them, you will know where they are.

Even if the documents didn't have the date in the filename, it would be
possible to search on the Modified date.

It's not that "T:" is a prohibited filename structure is it?
I thought that the colon is still one of the disallowed
characters in M$ (and 'ix?)

Word would not allow you to save with a colon in the filename, I think.
