I am learning to access newsgroups via Outlook 2003. I haven't been
able to find a way to get a listing of different newsgroups other than
those in the Microsoft lists.

How do I search for and download other newsgroups into the newsgroups
folder in my Outlook program?

Thanks,

Thomas

Ask your ISP for its news server details - it probably has the settings on its web site....

Outlook cannot read newsgroups. It does not contain an NNTP transport. By
default Outlook calls Outlook Express to read newsgroups.

Youre ISP may offer an NNTP server. Their web pages should detail whether
or not they do and what the server's name is if so. Otherwise, there are
several free NNTP servers available on the Internet and Google can locate
them for you.
