Finding Album Info

Hi, please help!!!

when I try and click 'find album info' it simply opens another window with
the message "This program cannot display the webpage". I have tried
everything FAQ's suggest from ensuring there is an internet
connection/emptying the IE cache, the problem seems to have appeared ever
since my last version of Media Player was updated to version 11.

The same thing happens when I click on the 'Online Stores' button.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Had the same problem here. Disabling antivirus, etc. had no effect. Tried "Internet Options" in "Control Panel" and under the "Connections" tab, "LAN Settings" was set to use a PROXY SERVER. Unchecking the box for "use a proxy server" solved my problem. Windows Media Player now connects to Napster and "browse online stores" works too. I did not check "automatically detect settings", but that might be something to try too.

Just a note - I was able to connect to the internet without any problems, the only time I had errors was using the online stores in Windows Media Player.
