Find user who has modified a file

Hi,
When a user modifies a Microsoft Excel or Word document, is there a way to
find out what user did the modifying of the document? Thanks.

You can turn on "security audit" on files and folders and configure it to log
in Security eventlog the access. After that you can set a filter to search
the events.
