Find Pane will not open

I have a user that has indicated they can't use the find feature in Outlook.
When I investigated I found that the find button is present on the toolbar
however when you click the button the find pane fails to open as it does on
other computers. I have looked ever place and can't find anything that
address this issue. Has anyone here seen this and what did you do to repair
the issue.

Version? In Outlook 2003, there is no pane. It's a toolbar/title bar that
appears on top of the Inbox that can be hard to see. See if she can access it
through Tools, Find on the menu. If that's not it, try a Detect and Repair on
the Help menu.
