"find" command in address window doesn't work anymore

I use Google as my default search engine. I also have the Google bar
installed. Up until about a week ago I was able to type something like "find
math clipart" and I would get lists of sites.

Now when I type find math clipart I get http:///? find math clipart
and a "this page cannot be displayed" message. I can't imagine why this
would all of sudden stop working. Are there any fixes. Or do I have to
reintstall XP all over again?

Remove all the others.
Get AdAware and SpyBot and run them both. Keep them up to date.

Up until about a week ago I was able to type something like

You have to allow AutoSearch for that to work.
(In Options, Advanced tab check something _other than_
Do not search from the Address bar
)

Google is not the default service for AutoSearch, MSN is.
So if that isn't set up either you will have to use the "Classic"
version of the Search Explorer bar to enable it.
(keystrokes assuming "Classic" search bar: Ctrl-e,Alt-z,Alt-A)


BTW besides malconfiguration your problem is also a common
symptom of a search service hi-jacking. So you might also want
to do a scan using a tool such as "Cool Web Shredder."
