Find and Replace

This is a bit off subject, but does anybody know of a nice, free, multi-file
find and replace utility?

Or, how can I use FrontPage's without being in a web?

From my experience FrontPage only does it in a web.

A nice editor that does it very well is Ultra Edit. Not a free program, but
I think you can try it for free for 30 or 45 days.

Keep in mind when you do any type of global search and replace outside of
the FP environment, FP will not know that your web content has been updated,
and if you change links, then those will also not be correctly updated.

Try iCarte Lightning. You can do a search for the web site. It's free. One
thing, though: After you use it, it may take FP a long time to open your web
again. Be sure you back up your web before you use it.
