Find a Date in Excell

Hi Folks,

I have a column in date format (mm/dd/yyyy). How do I use "find" to get to
occurrences of a particular date. I want all occurrences of 11/01/2007, but
find gives me no results even when I select a cell with the date format
through find options.

Any help appreciated

Thanks....

You might find it easier to set up an autofilter for that column (Data
| Filter | Autofilter) and then you will be able to select the date of
interest from the filter pull-down.

Hope this helps.

Are you doing this in code?

Sometimes, if you wrap your date in clng() it helps.

Hi,

Thanks for the answers. No code. I changed the date column to numbers and
then searched for the numeric equivalent of the day I was looking for.
