Filtering contact listoe distrubution list

when i make a dist. list to send out multipul emails it always tries to send
emails to the fax numbers that are listed on the contacts information. how do
i make sure that my dist. list only has emails addresses so i will not get
back so many error messages. Also is ther a limit to the number of emails
that can be sent at one time i also get messsage that say to may contacts

When you create the DL, make sure you include only enties with email
addresses. That's completely under your control. A DL can't contain fax
addresses unless you put them there.
Also is ther a limit to the number of emails
that can be sent at one time i also get messsage that say to may contacts

Outlook contains no such limit, but your ISP may impose one.

Yes. You filter it with your brain and eyes and only select the email
entries. Widen the window if it's not clear enough to you which entry is
which (although email address will always come first). As long as you have
fax numbers defined for your contacts, the Address Book inteface will show
them because they are legal electronic addresses and it is the Address
Book's job to show electronic addresses. If you don't want to see them
there, don't put them in the contact records or specify them in such a way
that Outlook can't tell they're phone numbers. May people preface them with
the letter "F", for example. If you use fax integration with Outlook,
however, munging the fax numbers will break the software's ability to find
the fax number.
