filter on excel table with msquery and replaced header

Can I add an automatic filter, replacing or hiding original header line
created importing data from external data (msquery) and adding manually a
new header because I need to rename column names in ordere to not modify
names?
Deleting header from option table of excel simply hides the line and
automatic filter created over that line doesn't display value list.
Please note that this operation was possible with excel 2000 but I'm not
able to do it with excel 2010.
