Filter Function in a Form

Hallo

I am trying to apply a filter to a form is when it opens that it only takes
the data from a table that meets the criteria. When i use a macro to open the
form and apply a criteria it works or use a query but how i can i do it with
out a macro to open the form or a new query. It cannot be that hard the
criteria are only is there a yes or a no in a field.
