"Filter Driver" error with digital camera in USB

D

DS

When I plug in my new Nikon digital camera in the USB, I
get the following error message:

"One of the filter drivers installed for this device is
invalid."

I checked the MS knowledge base, and it did not help.

Have you considered going to Nikon's website for a new copy of the drivers?

The MSKB can be a stinker at times - unless you really use advanced
searching.... but just think about how much stuff they have to try to keep
track of.... not an easy task!

Here's a link I use a lot... it's also a one of there's:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/ It just seems to work better for me.
More intuitive, maybe.

Good luck,
