Fill Series Alphabetical?

I thought I could fill a series in a column Act A Act B Act C etc... but
can't seem to make it work. All I get is a repeat of the first three cells.
Am I "misremembering" something?

If you'll be using ACT A, ACT B, a lot, you can make a custom list (Tools -
Custom Lists). Then you can use the Fill Handle to quickly make another
such list in a worksheet.
