My Documents do not show under "Files Stored on My Computer" in My Computer.
The only time this shows when I have Administrative Privileges. I have
looked in the Registry
(HKLM\software\Microsoft\windows\currentversion\explorer\docfolderpaths) and
the Values are correct. The Set values in the command prompt are also
correct. Other users on the machine are also affected. I have Windows XP Pro
SP2. If any could shed some light on this situation would be great and much
appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi Derek,

Go to Start/Run/Regedit and verify this key and values:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ Explorer\My
Computer\NameSpace\DelegateFolders

Sub-key named {59031a47-3f72-44a7-89c5-5595fe6b30ee}. If this subkey is not
present, you will not have the group: Other files stored on this computer.

Other than that, if you are using TweakUI check your settings under - My
Computer/Files stored on this computer. And/or run the edit on line 56:
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

Added info:

To get an account's My Documents folder to appear in Windows Explorer (Files
stored on this computer), add/edit a key in the DocFolderPaths branch like
so:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\DocFolderPaths]
"user"="C:\Documents and Settings\user\My Documents"

In the right pane, right click and choose New/String Value. Give it the
name of the user. Double click the name once added and type in:
C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\My Documents

Thanks for replying. Everything is there, my problem is when a limited user
logs on, the user only sees the shared documents under Files Stored on This
Computer but not their "my documents" folder. If I give the limited user
Administrative Privileges then the user can see their documents folder as
well as the shared documents folder.

Simple File Sharing is set off.

Under the following user's "My documents" Security,
I have a Power User that has his name as Full Control, Administrators - Full
Control, System - Full Control.
A Limited User with their name as Full Control, Administrators - Full
Control, System - Full Control.
An Administrator User with their name as Full Control, and System - Full
Control.

I even created a new Limited User account and it does not show My Document
under the "Files Stored on the Computer".

The Administrator User works perfectly but the other two - they do not.
