I ran the wizard for the purpose of backing up my data to a directory on my
HD that I was later going to copy (backup) to a DVD and then delete the HD
files. This has taken up too much space on my HD. I would like to find and
delete these files. I don't know where the files were backed up to on the
HD, but, I would like to find and delete. them. Please help

Using F.A.S.T [Files And Settings Transfer] wizard.

Todd,

For backups, use a different approach (use NTBACKUP or any other specialized
backup tool and then transfer the data to removable media). IME, Files and
Settings Transfer Wizard is unreliable as the datastore is prone to
corruption, thus leading to data loss.

When I run the wizard, it always uses the exact same file name,
but it allows me to choose the folder. So, I create a new folder
in advance, give it today's date, like "File Transfer Wizard
2005-01-05", and let 'er rip!

BTW, you can click on an option box and de-select any file types
you /don't/ want to save. So, if you're doing incrementals of,
say, JPG, you can de-select the rest and save only the pictures.
