Files & Settings Transfer Wizard Crashes

Hi all,

I'm running WinXP SP2 and just had to reformat my HD. Backed up all my
settings before the reformat using the F&S Transfer Wizard and saved to an
external HD. Now I'm trying to restore the settings. The wizard opens my
backup file and starts to recover the settings, but about halfway through
("Applying your User Settings") it crashes every time I run it, which so far
is about 8 times. I desperately need the info in my settings--can anybody
help me out? Thanks.

Try copying the folder you saved the data in to youre desktop,then have the
wizard open it and run.

Already tried that--still crashes.
