Windows xp XP on C:\ Programs on E:\

This is really weird. I have a 2 programs on drive E called program1 and
program2. I load all my programs into these. Every thing has worked good
doing this. I now have in program2 a program called "Bert McClellan" (my
name). Inside this is a program called Favorites, Inside favorites is 3
programs. "Control Panel.lnk", "My Computer.lnk", and "Windows.lnk"

Sounds like something that would be in "My Documents" I have tried
everything I can think of to delete these files. I have 2 file programs I
use. "My Power Desk" and "Total Commander"

Total Commander will delete the program to the recycle bin, but then it
reappears.

My Power Desk will not delete them at all.

Now this is something I can live with, but would like to delete it entirely.
Any idea how it got there and how I can delete it? Thanks in advance.

*.LNK files are only shortcuts. They are not full copies of the files that
they point to and take up very little space. It sounds like Power Desk or
Total Commander maintain their own records (separate from Windows) about
your desktop. I would suggest leaving the files in place.
