Hi,

One month ago I replaced my old motherboard by Asus(p4p800 deluxe).
I install window 2000 pro sp3.
But I all the time now I have this pop-up window after I install some
program "files that are required for windows to run properlly have been
replaced by unrecognised versions to maintain system stability windows
must restore the original versions of these files" " insert your windows
professional now".
I do that several time but all the time the warning come back.
Any clue?

Thank you?

Asus P4P800 DLX
Matrox G 550
1024 MB memory
1 S-ATA HD 60mb
2 P-ATA HD 40MB each
1 CD ROM IDE

What application was being installed into the computer just before this message
first appeared? If this application is still active, it means that it is calling up an
older or non-compliant version of a Windows system file and activating it for
use. Is the name of the file given? And also, if the application is a legitimate one,
then there might be an update for use with SP3.

At the same time Outlook lost all this settings & I don't have anymore
E-mail in INBOX, although before I have perhaps 200 messages & when I
go in the folder "Documents and setting\jl\application data\Outlook\" I
notice that I have now 3 files instead of two : EXTEND.DAT 2kb -
OUTLOOK.PST 113,456kb - OUTLOOK1.PST 48kb
I hope these precisions could help to find the origine of the problem!
By the way I already reinstall windows already 4 times with the same
problem. At the beginning It work well but at some point I have this
problem.First I was thinking the problem come from my display card
driver's (Matrox G550) but I reinstalled without this driver & few day
later the same thing happen again

Installed Windows 4 times and each time the problem recurs. OK...just what
is being installed after Windows 2000? Also, running Windows 2000 behind
an anti-virus and a firewall?
