files does not appers on desktop but are present in env

Hi,

we are experiencing some strange problem, when we save a file on any
desktop (windows 2000 sp4 up to date) the fil does not appear even
after a refresh but we we take a lokk to the profil and the env folder
the file is here. ther must be some kind of association broken into the
shel but wich one.

try right clicking on the desktop and selecting Arrange Icons> Auto Arrange

plus ensure the file types arent registered as hidden files
