Files are in reverse order in Open dialog box

Seems like a Win bug: When opening a file, all files and folders in the Open
dialog box are listed in reverse alphabetical order.

This is annoying whenever opening a file, where I have to either "think
backward" or change the sort order.

Help anyone?

When the dialog box is open, click the word file at the top. This will
change the sort order of the filenames from A-Z instead of the current Z-A.

Not sure what you mean by the "word file at the top"? The Open dialog box
has nothing clickable (like a column header) to change the sort order unless
the view is changed to Detail mode.

Use Doug's fix or change it to detail mode, fix it and then revert to
whatever view you want.
