Files and Settings Transfer Wizard

G

Glenn

I have a dual boot. One drive has Windows 98 second
edition as the operating system and the other drive is
Windows XP. Is there a way I can use the Files and
Settings Transfer Wizard to transfer files from one drive
directly to another? If so, how? Or does this only work
from one computer to another?
Sincerely,
Glenn Bednarik

Just boot to the XP OS. Use Windows Explorer to access the other drive and
drag and drop the files.

The "Files and Settings Transfer Wizard" does exactly as it name implies.....
transfers "Files and Settings". It will not transfer "Programs". You'll need
to reinstall your programs using the original program installation CDs.
