I searched for dri_kbfiltr*.* on my XP Pro laptop and did not get any
hits. Therefore, I'm going to tentatively conclude that this file is
not part of XP and therfore this is probably the reason you repain
install did not work.
Check the programs that startup (using msconfig program) to see if you
can figure out which one is expecting to see this file... then reinstall
that application.
You should also use Google to search for this file name. Lots of clues
are display there.
