File wont open

To open a file in Windows X P Home, I must right click and hit open. If I
double click on right I am sent to search. How do I correct this?

Go to the following website and look on Line 18, right column. Click the
"Search Opens When Double Clicking A Folder" link and download the file.
Double click the file to install.
