file with _,rar extension

Hope you do not mind I ask in this forum as I need the answer asap.
The manufacturer send me a driver and when I download it, its a file with
"_.rar" extension. Now how do I open it..with what program so that I can
install the driver.

Try winrar.
Or try google to find the answer.

RAR is an archiver written by Eugene Roshal. It's similar to the well-known
ZIP format, but claimed to be more efficient. The Windows utility is
commercial but there is a free commandline UNRAR tool which is adequate for
occasional use.

unrar x <filename>

extracts the contents of an archive.

On second thoughts, you might find that 7zip does the job more simply, being
a Windows app you don't need to struggle with commandlines:

Many thanks for all those responded and Ihave resolved the problem. The Lan
card is working now.
