How can I transfer files using Remote Desktop from my desktop to my laptop?

Thanks, Mark
I followed your steps, but didn't see any extra hard drives. Any further
help for me?

Tile the two windows - Explorer on the Remote machine and explorer on your
machine. Drag and drop from one to the other...

Before you connect to the remote computer, in Remote Desktop Connection,
click on Options.
Local Resources - More...
checkmark the drives on your local PC that you want to see while connected
to the remote PC
OK
then Connect

Thanks for that info:
To the OP - the drive you select will appear in the My Computer Window of
the machine you are connected to...

It works! Thanks, guys. I had a little difficulty understanding the
process, because I'm rather a novice. I thought it would make sense to be
able to do this, but the "how-to's" were not as helpful as this site.
