File transfer wizard is damaging my windows

Hello there,
I recently backed up all my data using File And Settings Transfer Wizard. I
formatted my hdd because windows was not working properly but it was
working. Now, with a fresh new install of windows XP pro I am running the
wizard to restore my files and configuration and the process run pretty good
for a few hours. Right at the end it reports an error retoring my address
book because outlook is not properly configured and after that it end and
ask me to log off and log back in for the changes to take effect.
When I log back in it starts loading and right after it logs me off again.
This happens regardless of the user I use to log in.
To make things worst, After I restart the machine windows does not finish
loading; instead it stucks in a blue screen with the mouse pointer (which
moves perfectly) and nothing else.

Have any one run into this same problem?? If so how have you work it out?

Thanks.

Erick

Hi Rick,
Thanks for your reply...
This is not the reason as I am updating the fresh copy of windows to the
latest (including sp2) before running the wizard on the new machine. I have
tested this in 2 different machine and I am having exactly the same problem.
After it restores everything machine logs off automatically right after
logging in. And after restarting the unit it will never prompt me for the
username and password again.
If you can think of any other way I could solve this issue I will greatly
appreciate it.

Thanks again.
Erick
