I have found a web server I'm waiting to publish a 2003
powerpoint presentation to as a full website. I see there
are problems associated with the extensions used in
FrontPage when publishing to the web. Does anyone know if
there are similar problems with powerpoint? Got any ideas
as to where I can view a mini manual about it?

What kind of problems are you referring to? "FrontPage Extensions" is
something quite different from "the file extensions used in FrontPage". To
quote http://www.webhosts4free.com/definitions/webhosting-glossary.php, the
definition of FrontPage Extensions is:

Also called FrontPage server extensions. These are a set of server-side
scripts and programs which enable users of Microsoft FrontPage to use its
special components (called Web Bots). The extensions can be installed for
Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) and on other Windows (usually
Windows NT) and UNIX web servers.

You'll have no problem with PowerPoint either. See:

Good answer, Sonia! I'll shout you a cup of coffee next time I see you ;-)
