File transfer and D-Link 504 Router

Hi all.
I'm hoping someone may be able to help me here.
I have just bought a DLink 504 router. When someone tries to send me a file,
the status light on the router stay's on (it's supposed to blink on and
off), and all internet activity stops.
I've tried to open up ports 6891 to 6900 to no avail,on the router.(it has
UPnP enabled)
Can someone please help me, with this problem.

Yikes! Someone else with my problem!! Worked fine with messenger 4.7 most
of the time. I found the only way to sort it is to power cycle the router,
which is faaaaar from ideal. Does the same with voice or video
connections....damn technology
