file that can't be deleted

I have a file that, when I attempt to delete it, the OS reports that it
'Cannot read from the source file or disk'.

How do I get rid of this file?

This sounds like a bad disk/sector.. However, have you triedn in Safe Mode?

Try renaming it first, then deleting.
