I have three PC's networks through a Linksys Router. a Desktop running
XP-Home, another Desktop running 2000-Pro and a laptop running XP-Pro.
I have a folder, named SHARE, on the C: drive of the 2000-Pro machine that
has been set to be "share-able".
I can get to that folder from both XP machines without any problem.
However, I want to shared a few folders on the D: drive too and I can't get
it to work. I get the ubiquitous \\933\WORK is not accessible. You may not
have permission....etc
I have shared the entire D drive as well as the folder called WORK on that
drive and it doesn't seem to work. I'm wondering if something got stepped on
in the registry, or elsewhere, that would cause this problem and if there's
any recommended fixes.
Thanks
