File sharing after SP2

Hi All

I let SP2 enable the Firewall when it installed but
unless I disable it I can't share files between my
Desktop and laptop. Can anyone help me?

I read somewhere there are exceptions you can/have to configure in the
firewall's properties.
Can't give more details since waiting for the SP2 CD to arrive...

SP2 file sharing works fine for my network with Windows Firewall enabled.
Make sure you have File and Printer Sharing checked in the Exceptions tab.

You will presumably have two connections; one to the Internet and one
via a cable or wireless to the laptop. Open Control Panel - Windows
Firewall and on the advanced page uncheck the one to the laptop. having
it active just on the Internet
