File "rundll32.exe" not found

After installing Norton Antivirus and rebooting the
system I could not open some programs and the error
displayed said it could not find the above mentioned file

Any thoughts? hoe do I replace such file?

I don't think it is rundll32 that cannot be found. That is used a lot,
to run a .dll library as if it were a stand-alone program. I think it
is some dll which it is set to run which is missing. But it is not
possible to say which. As this started with an install of Norton, I
would uninstall that, then use System restore to go back to a time
before you installed it, and see if the effect goes.
