File Opening Association

Since installing SP2 I am unable to open HTML files with Internet Explorer.
Also I can not add in Interneet Explorer to the "OPEN WITH" list.

Is this yet another case of Microsoft causing yet more problems with their
supposed fixes?

If anyone can advise how I can, with SP2, make the necessary association I
would appreciate it
