"File not completely loaded"

I am getting the error message referenced above when I
try to open a CSV file in Excel from text format. The
file has more than 255 columns. I know Microsoft has a
patch for this, but I can't find it in the Knowledge
Base. Thanks for any help you can give me on this! DC

I'm not familiar with the patch but as Excel has never had more than 255
columns it would make sense that you get this error.

Does it prevent the load?

Deborah-
I am trying to work with very large spreedsheets and I
am getting into the same problem, except I need to work
with more than 65,000 rows. I have not found a solution.
