How do I tell Windows that I'd like new HTML documents as an option
when I select to create a new document in an explorer folder?

When you done with your Editing/creating your Doxcs click on the File menu
then select save as and on the Save As window :

Save In : [ C:\My Documents ]




File name : [ home.html ]
Save As Type: [ Text Documents (*.txt) ]
Encoding: [ UTF-8 ]

The most important is the File name and the extension which windows/system
will read which is (*.html)

I can't use that solution at work (registry change).

Hi Howard,

If this is a work computer, then adding additional shellnew entries may not be possible. For that you need write access to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE hive.
