Until recently I was able to see the file name of each
photo under the it in "Film Strip".

All of a sudden it dissapeared & I can't bring it back.

Try this:

go to...Start / Run and type:

"REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL"
(without the quotes)(Yes, there's
a space between 2 and S)

Click...OK.

Click on View and change Filmstrip to List.
Hold the Shift key down and while holding it down, click on View and click
on Filmstrip. The name of the file will now be under the photo. If you want
to remove the name of the file, do the same thing again.
