"file is unavailable"

Everytime I attempt to open a saved document (invarious programs, e.g. Word
and Powerpoint) a message appears, saying "the file ____ is not available".
I'd like to know how to correct whatever is causing this.

I am using XP and office 2003.

Hi, Larry. Disable the Office Plugin that comes with Symantec/Norton
