File In Temp Folder I Cannot Delete

~DF8859.tmp cannot be deleted from my computer. It contains:
Root Entry 0( @7wg?)
When I try to delete it I get the message: "Cannot delete ~DF8859:
There Has Been A Sharing Violation. The Source Or Destination File
May Be In Use." The strange thing is that I have two other files int
the same folder containing the same text that can be deleted. Could
anyone tell me what this is?

It is a temporary file that is being used, its file handle is open, and thus the file can
NOT be deleted.

This is a normal OS process. The name "~DF8859.tmp" indicates it is a TeMPorary file as
noted by the TMP extension and the tilde (~) 1st character.

Thank you. I was a little worried that it might be some type of
spyware thing. I'm getting more and more paranoid as I get older.
