File format when saving

When I go to save an image in Explorer browser, it always wants to save as
'untitiled' in a BMP format. Where is the setting to save in the format it
truely is, or at least in JPG, or with the correct name?

Clear out the temporary internet files.

Internet Explorer | Tools | Internet Options | Temporary Internet files
- Delete Files

This happens if the indexes of the Temporary Internet Files get
overloaded. In Control Panel - Internet Options, in the temporary
internet files section on the General page, click 'Delete files'. Then
I suggest click Settings and reduce the space allowed - 50 MB is
probably generous, and on big drives it tends to choose by default a
setting that is so high that this overload happens

A way to help keep it (IE cache) leaner is use the "Empty Temporary
Internet Files on Exit" option. That's useful if you're on Broadband or
don't care to retained cached items.

This problem is usually associated with AOL users - I myself have jus
overcome your problem after trying loads of different methods includin
those suggested above - which did not work.

I have invented a step- by- step process which worked for me - but it
long and a bit extreme.

Reply if nothing else works and you want to know what it is.
And tell me if you are with AOL 8.0 or 9.0
