File Format - 2000 or 2003?

J

Jack Sheet

We run Office 2003 but by default new databases are created in 2000 file
format.

The advantage of 2000 file format is obvious to me (backward compatibility).
Of course I could be wrong even on that.

What I do not know is what advantages there are in adopting the 2003 file
format, assuming that backward compatibility is not an issue.

Could someone help me on that, or provide a link? Thanks.
