File/Folder permissions

I want to reinstall my file server due to hard disk
faliure. There are about 80 shared folders and is there
anyway that i can restore the files with the permission
after the OS reinstallation. File server is running
windows 2000 with SP3. I can do a S/W mirroring or Ghost
but the source disk contains bad sectors.

please advice

Ntbackup can back up the files including permissions, to a local tape
device or to a hard disk, either remote or locally.

Mirroring will not work if there are sector errors.
