File Errors when Opening Excel

Whenever I open Excel, I get a series of errors. First, "'H:\' could not be
found. Check the spelling of the file name, and verify that the location is
correct. If you are trying to open the file from your list of most recently
used files on the File menu, make sure that the file has not been renamed,
moved, or deleted."

then:
"Cannot access read-only document 'Patronage-Retains".

followed by:
"Cannot access 'Patronage-Retains'."

Then it opens and works fine. The only thing that I may have done was
incorrectly change the default file location (and then change back to my
documents). I tried changing the default location in "Word" (that's where I
had to change the template folder to make it a common, network folder), but
nothing stops this error. Any ideas?

I wonder if you have links that can't be updated for some reason. You can
do a check within the formulas for them, but I tend to find problems with
named ranges and chart series more often than actual formula issues on a
worksheet..
