File Association - Urgent!

Hello Group,
I have a unrecognized file ext (say .cust )which I am
trying to open it using a EXE file. When I try to open the .cust file with
the EXE file, it doesnt seem to open.All it does it is, try to choose from
the standard programs which pops up on the "Open With.." window.. This is
the problem only with XP. I am relatively new to XP, so any help regarding
the same would be great!!

This group seems to be sluggish.. i got it working!!
