File Association and Related Icon

I'm using a file, specifically .fwp, which is a gaming waypoint file, that
needs to be edited with a plain text editor. I use EditPad Pro and have had
not problem until just yesterday, when I had a friend e-mail me a file. When
it arrived I saved it but it is associated with Microsoft FrontPage. I have
no idea why this would occur. However, I did change the assocation using the
"Open With" and "Always Use This Program to Open" to EditPad Pro but the MS
FrontPage Icon is still there, rather than the EditPad Icon. How can I get
the correct icon associated with the file?

Rightclick the icon of the correct type, Properties, Shortcut tab,'Change
icon' button, to discover the name of the source file for the icon, and
remember it.

Do the same for the 'wrong' icon, and change it to the same file as the
'right' one
