I have two laptops connected via peer-to-peer network, both running XP Pro.
I want to transfer files and settings from one to the other. On the old
machine, I run the wizard from the XP CD and the storage file is saved on a
shared Zip Drive. the file is there, it is real, has a size of 53.5 MB ,
and is called USMT2IMG.DAT

I then go to the new machine, run the wizard from the CD, browse to the
shared Zip (which can be seen over the network) click OK and get a message
"The location that you specified does not contain stored information"
WHAT? Seemingly the wizard can't read a file produced by the wizard. How
does this happen and how do I fix it?

Rifleman, I ran into this a few times with FAST. During the restore part,
you're asked to direct the wizard to a source. Try selecting the folder
that contains the *.dat file instead of selecting the *dat file itself.
